LITTLE EGG HARBOR – Two men have been arrested and charged for possessing controlled dangerous substances after police performed a motor vehicle stop.
On December 8, the Little Egg Harbor Police Department stopped a Dodge SUV on Leitz Boulevard. Police stopped the vehicle due to a narcotic related investigation they’ve been conducting.
After a search of the vehicle and the two individuals, police discovered quantities of heroin and other controlled substances.
Police arrested Kevin Rogers, 29, of Little Egg Harbor and Garrett Bitzberger, 26, of Little Egg Harbor. Rogers was issued a summons charging him with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance and one count of Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance with Intent to Distribute. Bitzberger was and issued a summons charging him with one count of Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance. Both are released pending future court proceedings.
Charges are merely accusations until proven in a court of law.
