BEACH HAVEN – A GoFundMe has been created to raise money for Long Beach Island’s famed Surflight Theater. The fundraising site aims to raise $25,000 for the purchase of new commercial roof air conditioning units for the 2019 summer season.
“We unexpectedly are in need of new air conditioners for the theatre next season. We have been nursing them along since we took over in 2017. However, at the end of this summer two of our four AC units went to the AC graveyard in the sky,” stated the GoFundMe page.
Since the site was created on Nov. 24, Surflight has already garnered support from five generous donors; $550 of the total goal has been collected.
