BARNEGAT – Township police have charged a Freehold man with burglary and other offenses after a month-long investigation of February thefts.

That man, Timothy Isaksen, 30, is already in Monmouth County Jail on unrelated charges.

Isaksen is charged with three counts of computer criminal activity, burglary and theft. Barnegat Township Police Sgt. MaryAnn Cirulli signed the complaints.

Officers responded to reports of stolen items from unsecured vehicles the morning of Feb. 3. Surveillance footage from a local Wawa showed two “subjects of interest.” A citizen, seeing the footage Barnegat Police released, was able to identify Isaksen.

Isaksen made headlines back in 2015 as part of a police car chase from New Jersey to Brooklyn.
