Police Seeking Suspect Caught On Surveillance

LITTLE EGG HARBOR – Little Egg Harbor Police are seeking help from the public to identify a suspect caught checking for unlocked car doors on home surveillance footage.

  Police reported that the suspect was caught between 11 p.m. on Jan. 6 and 3:30 a.m. on Jan. 7 on multiple home surveillance systems along the 200 block of Parkertown Dr. and along Railroad Ave. in the area of Walnut St. The same suspect can also be seen in surveillance footage in West Creek, near Railroad Ave. and Stafford Forge Rd.

  Police ask that anyone with surveillance cameras or hunting cameras in this area examine their footage from the evening of Jan. 6 to the morning of Jan. 7.

  If anyone has information regarding the suspect, contact the Little Egg Harbor Twp. Detective Bureau at 609-296-3666 ext. 170. Anonymous tips can also be sent to the department’s Facebook page.

  “It appears the subject is familiar with local trails in the Parkertown area and in West creek. Let’s make this thief famous, thank you for your on going support and help,” police stated via social media.
