FORKED RIVER – Police in Lacey Township are investigating a reported armed robbery at the TD Bank at 106 N. Main St. in Forked River, authorities said.
The investigation remained active, with several law enforcement agencies assisting, according to the Lacey Township Police Department.
Residents may notice an increased police presence in the area as investigators continue their work. Police asked the public to avoid the area if possible.
Authorities said there is no active threat to the community at this time.
