
BARNEGAT – Township Police Chief Jason Carroll has graduated from the 296th session of the FBI National Academy, a highly selective program held in Quantico, Virginia. The achievement marks a significant milestone in his career, placing him among a small group of law enforcement leaders nationwide who complete the advanced training each year.
The 11-week academy brings together officers from across the country and around the world for intensive leadership education, academic study, and physical training. Carroll spent his time in Quantico collaborating with peers on new policing strategies, sharing best practices, and exploring approaches that can be applied within the Barnegat Township Police Department.
Founded in 1935, the FBI National Academy focuses on elevating professional standards and strengthening cooperation among agencies. Its coursework covers topics such as intelligence, management science, behavioral analysis, communication, and forensic techniques. Carroll expressed appreciation to the Barnegat community and local officials for their support during his nomination and training.
Township officials and residents are celebrating his accomplishment, noting that the training will help enhance local public safety efforts.
