LITTLE EGG HARBOR – Police are searching for the suspect who stabbed a 31-year-old woman and fled the scene.
On December 6, the Little Egg Harbor Township Police responded to a call at 7:45 p.m. at Wingedfoot Lane about an active fight.
Once police arrived at the scene, the suspected party already fled the scene and they were met with a 31-year-old female victim of Barnegat who had been stabbed. The woman immediately received treatment from Squad 85 and was then transported to the Community Medical Center. She was then airlifted to the Atlantic City Medical Center where she remained in critical condition overnight. The victim is currently in stable condition.
The incident is currently an active investigation and police are asking if anyone has any information and/or video surveillance to call Cpl. Chris Arciniegas at 609-296-3666 Ext. 170.
