WARETOWN – Ocean Township Police announced the assignment of Corporal Leanne Petracca to the position of Detective within the Criminal Investigation Division.
Detective Petracca is the first female detective in the history of this agency and we couldn’t be any prouder. She brings with her 18 years of dedicated law enforcement experience that has spanned assignments such as DARE Officer, Field Training Officer, Domestic Violence Liaison and A detachment to the Ocean County Narcotics Unit.
Over the last couple of years Detective Petracca has demonstrated an ability to work collaboratively with other detectives not only within our agency but surrounding agencies as well as state and county investigators. We are confident that in her new assignment she will not only meet, but exceed our expectations in service to the community.
