LACEY – A pedestrian crossing Lacey Road was struck and hospitalized, police said.
Debra Larsen, 58, of Lacey, was making a left turn from Penn Avenue North onto Lacey Road when her Lincoln Town Car struck a 38-year-old Lacey woman. The pedestrian was crossing Lacey Road near the intersection. The incident happened just before 3 p.m. on January 10.
The pedestrian was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune. It was later determined that her injuries were non-life threatening.
The Forked River Fire Department, paramedics, and Lacey Township EMS also responded.
Ocean County Scanner News reported the woman who was struck was pregnant but police did not confirm that detail.
