Parkway Crash Leaves Man Critically Injured

STAFFORD – A single-vehicle crash on the Garden State Parkway ejects the driver from a car leaving him in critical condition, police said.

  On April 8 near mile marker 65.5 in Stafford, a Toyota Scion was driving northbound on the parkway when the car veered off to the left.

  New Jersey State Trooper Alejandro Goez told Jersey Shore Online that the driver, Saed Alasmar, 21, of Paramus, hit multiple trees and as a result was ejected from the vehicle. Alasmar sustained serious injuries and was flown to Jersey Shore University Medical Center.

  No other vehicles or passengers were involved in the incident.

At this time, the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
