Officers Hold Car Up To Keep It From Tipping

  TUCKERTON – A crash that took place on October 23 resulted in one car on its side with the driver trapped inside. 

  The West Tuckerton and Tuckerton Rescue Units responded to a call about an accident on Fourth Avenue between Pharo Ave. and Lake St.

  Once at the scene, the Tuckerton and Little Egg Harbor Police Officers had to hold the one vehicle from rolling onto its roof until fire personnel arrived to control it.

  According to police, the windshield was cut out in order to get the driver out of the vehicle. The driver was then taken to the hospital by Great Bay EMS to be checked.
