LITTLE EGG HARBOR — Two township residents were arrested and a significant quantity of methamphetamine, along with weapons and cash-related evidence, was seized following a court-authorized search at a home on Kadlubeck Way residence, authorities said.

According to the Little Egg Harbor Police Department, its Drug Enforcement Unit executed the warrant January 30, with tactical assistance from the Ocean County Regional SWAT Team after a narcotics investigation.

Investigators reported recovering approximately one pound and seven ounces of methamphetamine, 17 Suboxone pills, a .410 Western Field shotgun and three machete-style knives. Officers also seized items commonly associated with drug distribution, including digital scales and glass smoking devices.

Rudolf Kohl, 54, and Christine Ingelsby, 49, both of Little Egg Harbor, were taken into custody at the home.

Prosecutors charged the pair with first-degree distribution of a controlled dangerous substance and second-degree possession of a firearm while committing a drug offense, among other counts. Additional charges include possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, multiple drug possession offenses, money laundering and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both defendants were transported to the Ocean County Jail.

Authorities said additional regional and state law enforcement agencies assisted in the investigation.

All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.

Police asked anyone with information about criminal activity in the township to contact the department at 609-296-3666. Anonymous tips are accepted.
