STAFFORD – A Manahawkin man wanted in connection with a robbery case was taken into custody late Christmas night following an arrest by the Stafford Township Police Department.
Police said officers arrested 23-year-old Christian C. Rivera at approximately 11:30 p.m. on December 25 at his residence. Rivera was wanted on an active body warrant issued by the Atlantic City Police Department stemming from a strong-arm robbery investigation.
While officers were at the scene, police determined that two vehicles belonging to Rivera parked on the roadway were unregistered. Both vehicles were towed, and Rivera was issued multiple motor vehicle summonses, authorities said.
Following his arrest, Rivera was transported to Stafford Township Police Headquarters for processing before being turned over to Atlantic City police. Patrolman Sean O’Rourke was the arresting officer.
The incident remains under investigation by Atlantic City authorities.
