Local Man Dies In Quarry Watercraft Accident

  EAGLESWOOD – New Jersey State Police reported that a West Creek man died after being thrown from a personal watercraft at the Sahara Sand quarry.

  Salvatore Cusimano, 49, was found dead at the scene on Sunday by the West Tuckerton Volunteer Fire Company Dive Team. He had been thrown from his watercraft and did not resurface, witnesses told police.

  New Jersey State Troopers based at the Point Pleasant Marine station were called to the quarry for a report of a missing man at around 2:30 p.m., according to news reports.
