LITTLE EGG HARBOR – Someone deliberately set fire to a boat on November 17.
Township Police and firefighters responded to the corner of Staysail Drive and S. Forecastle Drive for an active fire.
It was soon discovered that fire was deliberately set under a boat which was parked underneath a house on pilings.
The fire was extinguished before it could ignite the house and juveniles are suspected for causing the blaze.
Anyone with camera footage in this area are asked to review it, between the hours of 2:45 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. on November 17.
.Juveniles were seen heading towards Binnacle Drive just prior to the reported fire, and may have gone down another side street. Any information would be appreciated, as this is an ongoing investigation. Those with information can call police at 609-296-3666 Ext. 170, callers can remain anonymous.
