Identities Released In Surf City Suspicious Deaths

  SURF CITY – The two people who were discovered dead in a local home yesterday were identified as John Enders, 87, of Surf City, and Francoise Pitoy, 75, of Manchester.

  Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer and Surf City Police Chief John N. Casella, Jr., issued a joint statement saying that the deaths were suspicious in nature but there is no danger to the public.

  “Our investigation indicates this was a targeted attack against both decedents,” Prosecutor Billhimer stated. “We will be able to release more information once post-mortem examinations have been completed.”

  The incident is still under investigation by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crime Unit, Surf City Police Department, and Ocean County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Investigation Unit.
