TUCKERTON – Tuckerton police are seeking the public’s help in searching for a hit-and-run driver who struck and injured a teenager after a road-rage incident Monday night.
Around 6:15 p.m., the teenager exited his car to speak with the other driver before being hit by a pickup truck in the area of Water Street near Stewart’s Drive-in, police said.
He was quickly brought to a nearby hospital for treatment, however the extent of his injuries are unclear.
The hit-and-run driver is possibly an older man with long, gray hair who was wearing a bandana, Chief Brian Olsen said. He was driving a Chevrolet Silverado (2015-2018) that fled south on Route 9 after the incident.
Anyone with information is asked to call Tuckerton police at 609-296-9416.
