MANAHAWKIN – Stafford Township Animal Control is offering a free rabies vaccination clinic for dogs and cats on April 8 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Public Works Garage, 320 Haywood Road.
A valid rabies certificate for the period of January 1 through November 1 is required by the State Health Department prior to purchasing a 2017 dog or cat license.
Dogs and cats are required to be licensed in Stafford Township in January, and these licenses will be sold at the rabies clinic.
Licenses are $8.20 for spayed/neutered pets (with certificate) and $11.20 for non-spayed/neutered pets. Separate checks are required for dogs and cats and exact cash is requested.
