LITTLE EGG HARBOR — A drug investigation led police to seize roughly six ounces of methamphetamine and arrest four township residents after serving a court-approved search warrant at a home on Lake George Court earlier this month, authorities said.

The Little Egg Harbor Police Department’s Drug Enforcement Unit, assisted by Stafford Township police and the Ocean County Regional SWAT Team, carried out the search at 107 Lake George Court as part of an ongoing narcotics probe. Investigators reported finding meth, glass smoking pipes, a digital scale and various packaging materials inside the residence.

Police said Daniel McDonald, 37, was charged with first-degree distribution of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and multiple counts of possessing drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Ocean County Jail to await court proceedings.

Three others — Danielle Trojan, 38; Michael McDonald, 43; and Christopher Tyler, 66 — were each charged with drug possession–related offenses and released after being served with summonses, according to the department.

Little Egg Harbor police said additional support for the operation came from the department’s patrol division, detective bureau and the New Jersey State Police Crime Suppression South Unit.

Authorities emphasized that all charges are accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Anyone with information about criminal activity in the township is asked to contact Little Egg Harbor police at 609-296-3666.
