BARNEGAT – A home in Four Seasons at Mirage was destroyed by fire just after midnight on Aug. 16, officials said.
There were no injuries at the scene, firefighters reported. The one-story home was destroyed. Firefighters had to come back to the scene at around 6:30 a.m. because the fire had rekindled.
“The cause of the fire is under investigation by the fire marshal,” said Barnegat Fire Chief Bob Lilley.
The Barnegat Fire Department responded to the fire scene and received mutual aid from Forked River, Stafford, and Waretown fire departments.
