LACEY – An Elwood Street residence had a FedEx package containing new smartphones stolen from its front porch Aug. 3.
Lacey Police received the reported theft at 7:12 p.m. that day. The woman, who lives on the 900 block of Elwood Street in Forked River, said she received a notification that her new Samsung Galaxy S9 phone and Galaxy Note 9 were delivered at 3:06 p.m.
The woman reported that she was home all day.
The phone and tablet are worth $1,500.
