STAFFORD – An investigation discovered quantities of crystal methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia inside a Mud City home on October 2, according to Stafford Police.
On Tuesday, the Stafford Township Drug Enforcement Unit, the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Special Operations Group, and the Ocean County SWAT Team executed a search warrant at West Mallard Drive in the Mud City section of Stafford Township.
A subsequent search found crystal meth and drug paraphernalia in the home of 44-year old Stephen D. Roberts and 28-year old Alexa L. Jick 28, both of Mud City. Police also seized Roberts’ 2015 Jeep Wrangler during the search.
Roberts and Jick were arrested and have since been released pending a court appearance.
“As policy, the Stafford Township Police Department will not release the photos of any defendants,” stated police.
