Cops: DWI Suspect Had Heroin

  LACEY – Police officers were called out to the parking lot of Manhattan Bagel for an unresponsive man in a vehicle which would lead to an arrest.

  At around 10 a.m. on July 23, Officers Michael Verwey and Jeff Slota found a man unconscious in his vehicle.

  David Cerreta, 54, of Forked River was found to be intoxicated and had heroin in his vehicle. He was charged with DWI, Reckless Driving, and Controlled Dangerous Substance in a Motor Vehicle. He was also charged criminally with Possession of Heroin and Being Under the Influence of a Controlled Dangerous Substance.

  Charges are merely accusations until proven in a court of law.
