STAFFORD – An 86-year old woman accidentally backed her vehicle into an occupied Perry’s Lake residence yesterday afternoon, police report.
On Oct. 23, at approximately 3:30 p.m., Stafford Police, Fire and EMS responded to a motor vehicle accident on Fort Lee Drive in the Perry’s Lake section of Stafford Township.
According to police, the driver, 86-year old Julia Elmowsky of Suffern, NY, was driving a Ford Escape on Oak Ridge Lane when she put the vehicle in reverse. Elmowsky thought she was reversing when she accidentally pressed the accelerator instead, causing her to collide with an occupied residence.
