STAFFORD – What remains of a newly constructed house is now full of charred debris after it was found engulfed in flames.

The Stafford Township Police Department responded to a call about a structure on Harry Drive being on fire on Friday morning. The Stafford, Barnegat, and Forked River fire companies all worked together and aided in extinguishing the fire. The Stafford EMS was also there as a precaution.

All of the construction workers were safe from the fire and no one was injured.

The Stafford Township Bureau of Fire Prevention and the Ocean County Fire Marshall’s Office are still investigating the scene as it’s unaware of what started the fire.
