POINT PLEASANT – The Women’s Club of Point Pleasant participated in numerous projects last year, collecting and donating tons of items for those in need.

For CASA Kids, the Women’s Club managed to bring in 125 Christmas loot bags filled with toys, 29 hand-crocheted scarves, hats, and lap blankets for children, which were made by the club’s members, as well as books, bookmarks, backpacks, duffel bags, and a BJ’s gift card.

In addition to this, 100 furry stuffed animal friends were donated to those children supported by The Childhood Leukemia Foundation.

The Women’s club also donated tray favors to the local Willow Springs Rehab Center.

With the end of 2018 in our rearview, the Women’s Club of Point Pleasant thanks everyone who donated or helped them meet their goals, as well as all the members.
