Two Winning $50K Lottery Tickets Sold In Ocean And Monmouth

  JERSEY SHORE – Two winning lottery tickets from the January 20 Powerball drawing were sold in Ocean and Monmouth Counties.

  These winning tickets were from the Powerball’s $50,000 third-tier prize, matching four of the five white balls and the Powerball. The one winning ticket was purchased at Lacey Liquors, 349 Route 9, in Lanoka Harbor, and the other wining ticket at Soda King, 300 Gordons Corner Rd. in Manalapan.

  In addition, three other counties had the winning $50,000 third-tier tickets. This included Atlantic County: Shop Rite #612, 23 Bethel Rd. in Somers Point, Bergen County: 7-Eleven #39225, 31-28 Broadway, in Fairlawn and Camden County: Wawa #8310, 201 W. Whitehorse Pike, in Berlin.

  The big winner of the night was a Maryland Lottery ticketholder who won the $731.1 million Powerball jackpot, according to New Jersey lottery officials.

  Three New Jersey tickets matched all five of the five white balls, winning the $1,000,000 second-tier prize. These winning tickets were purchase in Camden County: 7-Eleven #16158, 615 North Haddon Ave. in Haddonfield, Gloucester County: Wawa #951, 856 Mantua Park in Woodbury Heights and Middlesex County: Exxon, 4150 Route 1 North & Stouts Ln. in Monmouth Junction.

  The winning numbers for the January 20, drawing were: 40, 53, 60, 68, and 69. The Red Power Ball number was 22. The Multiplier number was 03.

  New Jersey lottery officials stated that 228,995 New Jersey players took home an estimated $1,192,043 in prizes ranging from $4 to $300.

  The next Powerball drawing will be held January 23, where the jackpot resets to $20,000,000.
