State Police Seeking Public’s Assistance With Serious Parkway Crash

OCEAN COUNTY – The New Jersey State Police is seeking the public’s assistance with a motor vehicle crash investigation that occurred on the Garden State Parkway, milepost 81 in South Toms River, Ocean County on Thursday, October 17. 

Based on an investigation at the scene, detectives determined that at approximately 3:23 p.m., a spare wheel became dislodged from an unknown vehicle traveling northbound on the Garden State Parkway. The spare wheel subsequently struck a motorist traveling southbound, causing serious injuries to the driver.
