TOMS RIVER – A ceremony in remembrance of the attacks on September 11, 2001 will be held at 11:15 a.m. on Monday at Ocean County College.
Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno will be among the speakers, including Jon Larson, president of OCC, Stephen Kubow, acting associate vice president of Kean Ocean, Christopher Bottomley, college lecturer of business, and Richard Trimble, teacher of humanities. The emcee will be Edward Kissling, professor of business.
A reading of names will be done by Jason Ghibesi, lecturer of political science and history, and Lynn Kenneally, professor of social science.
The National Anthem will be sung by Jordan Varga, OCC Class of 2017. The bagpiper will be from the Ocean County Emerald Society.
The event will be held at the gateway building roundabout. It is open to the public.
