Every year, thousands of brave plungers take these words to heart as they take an icy dip into the Atlantic Ocean for the Polar Bear Plunge. This year, it is expected that almost 7,000 people will be participating!
This event benefits the Special Olympics NJ, raising nearly $2 million. This year is extra special, as it marks the 50th anniversary of the Special Olympics as well.
