LAKEWOOD – Police are investigating a stabbing incident that occurred over the weekend. On September 8, 29-year old Lakewood resident Mario Garcia- Techalero entered police headquarters with a large stab wound to his lower left chest.
Techalero initially told police that he was unsure of where the incident occurred but informed that it was somewhere near Hurley Ave. Techalero was not able to provide police with a motive or a description of the suspect.
Police administered first aid and Lakewood EMS later transported him to Jersey Shore Medical Center for further evaluation.
