TOMS RIVER – Police are investigating a crash that killed a pedestrian in the area of mile marker 82 in on the Garden State Parkway.
At around 2:15 p.m., a Toyota Camry heading north struck a pedestrian in the roadway, police said. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is still continuing and more information will be made available by police.
