Ocean, Monmouth Lottery Players Score Big

TRENTON – From August 18 through August 24, several players in Ocean and Monmouth counties claimed prizes worth tens of thousands of dollars in New Jersey Lottery games.

In Ocean County, a $25,000 winning Crossword Bonanza ticket was sold on August 18 at Singin, 1215 Lakewood Road, in Toms River. On August 20, Bayville produced two major wins: a $50,000 Jumbo Bucks ticket sold at Country Food Market, 941 State Route 9, and a $20,000 Crossword ticket sold at Corner Store at Bayville, 220 Ocean Gate Drive.

In Monmouth County, a string of winners also emerged. On August 20, a $50,000 Powerball ticket was purchased at Quick Stop Food Store, 120 West Sylvania Avenue, in Neptune City. The following day, August 21, an ACME supermarket at 2007 Route 35 in Wall Township sold a $250,000 Pick-6 ticket. That same day, a $10,000 Super Hot 7’s ticket was won at Sungate Mini Mart, 427 Prospect Street, in Long Branch. Rounding out the week, a $10,000 Neon 9’s ticket was sold on August 22 at Quick Chek #153, 347 Highway 35, in Eatontown.

These Ocean and Monmouth winners were among 22 prizes of $10,000 or more awarded statewide last week, totaling more than $2.7 million. Lottery officials encourage players to check their tickets daily and visit NJLottery.com for more information.
