BRICK – An Ocean Medical Center supervisor received the Patriot Award by the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve recently.
Mary Beth Laskay was honored by the ESGR, a Defense Department agency that promotes cooperation and understanding between civilian and National Guard and Reserve employees.
Laskay was publicly recognized for providing a National Guard and Reserve employee flexible schedules, time off prior to and after deployment, granting needed leaves of absence and caring for families.
Laskay was nominated by Lt. Renita Antoine, a U.S. Army reservist and practice manager at Ocean Medical Center.
