SEASIDE HEIGHTS – After a two-month long investigation, two residents have been arrested for storing and selling several different drugs out of their home in Seaside Heights, officials said.
A joint investigation identified 22-year-old Jimmey Bryant Jr. and 18-year-old Ceeyanna Pringle, both of Seaside Heights, were using their home to hold and distribute illegal narcotics.
On March 18, detectives executed a search warrant on the home and seized 20 grams of cocaine powder, 20 grams of crack cocaine, a loaded 9mm semi-automatic handgun, a conducted energy device (like a Taser) and a digital scale.
Police said they also searched a nearby home and seized a semi-automatic handgun with a loaded 30 round magazine.
Bryant was charged with Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute, Possession of more than One Ounce of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of a Weapon while Committing a Controlled Dangerous Substance Offense, Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Dangerous Substance Within 1,000 feet of School Property, Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Dangerous Substance within 500 feet of a Public Park and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Additionally, Bryant was found to have two outstanding arrest warrants for Aggravated Assault with a Weapon in connection with an unrelated incident that occurred in Seaside Heights in March 2021.
Pringle was charged with Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute, Possession of more than One Ounce of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of a Weapon while Committing a Controlled Dangerous Substance Offense, Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Dangerous Substance Within 1,000 feet of School Property, Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Dangerous Substance within 500 feet of a Public Park and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer commended the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force, Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Asset Forfeiture Unit, Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Regional SWAT Team, Seaside Heights Police Department Detective Bureau, Seaside Heights Police Department Patrol Division and Ocean County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit, for their combined and collective efforts in connection with this investigation.
The charges referenced are merely accusations and the public are reminded that all defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
