Ocean County New Year’s Eve Activity Goes Virtual

  SEASIDE HEIGHTS – Hundreds of prizes and fun for everyone, (especially children) will be a part of this year’s First Night Ocean County event.

  The activity has proven to be an Ocean County tradition in sending off the old year and everyone wants to see 2020 end. The free event however, will be experienced in a different this way due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

  Out of caution for the public’s health, First Night Ocean County will be an online, virtual event. First Night takes place at locations throughout the world as a family-oriented, alcohol-free alternative to New Year’s Eve parties.

 The event is open for participation run from 1 to 4 p.m. on December 31. The minimum time you will need is around 30 minutes. You can take longer, though, as participation is at the pace you and your family set.

  According to the event’s website, activities involve a series of online puzzles and experiences and 100, or more, participants will be lucky winners.

  You will not be able to start until 1 p.m. and must have your entry submitted by 4 p.m. The prize list and rules will be posted exit82.com/firstnight/.
