OCEAN COUNTY – Detective Michael Schumann of the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department was presented with the Gold Medal of Valor at the 129th Annual New Jersey State PBA Valor Awards, recognizing his exceptional courage and heroic actions in the line of duty.
The Gold Medal of Valor is the association’s highest honor, reserved for officers who demonstrate extraordinary bravery while protecting the public.
PBA President Charles Solimine, Delegate Keith Hardie, Ocean County Sheriff Michael Mastronardy, and several of Schumann’s colleagues joined his family and friends at the ceremony to celebrate the achievement.
PBA Locals 379 and 379A extended their gratitude to Schumann and all of this year’s Valor Award recipients for their service and dedication.
