LAKEWOOD — Township police said officers arrested a 69-year-old man March 17 after responding to reports of a nude man in the area of 2nd Street who was allegedly taking items.
When officers arrived, they found the man fully unclothed outside Pine Cone Liquor Store while holding and drinking a 25-ounce Budweiser, according to police. Authorities said he began shouting disturbing remarks as officers approached, but he was taken into custody without further trouble.
Investigators allege the man took the beer from the store without paying. He was brought to Lakewood Police Headquarters and charged with lewdness and shoplifting.
