Lottery Helps Ocean County Man Become Millionaire

ATLANTIC CITY – Did you know that if you submit your non-winning instant tickets online you can have a chance to win a million dollars?

Ed Schlesinger of Ocean County did just that, winning the Million Dollar Replay Grand Prize Drawing at Caesars Atlantic City Hotel and Casino.

He was one of many lottery players who submitted their non-winning instant tickets online during 2022. Each quarter, 100 names were selected and awarded $250. They were also entered into the grand prize drawing.

Schlesinger’s million was the top prize. The next 14 won anywhere from $10,000 to $100,000. There were also door prizes, Scratch-Off packs, and gift baskets.

He said he will use the prize money to pay off student loans, car payments, and mortgages, as well as helping his wife realize a career dream.

“Once again, New Jersey Lottery players who were quarterfinalists in the Million Dollar Replay contest came to Atlantic City for fun, entertainment, and their chance to become a millionaire,” said James Carey, New Jersey Lottery Executive Director. “For the 12th consecutive year, we were happy to see our players enjoy the ultimate do-over with their opportunity to win $1,000,000!”
