LAKEWOOD – A 62-year-old woman was injured after her car rolled onto her foot in her driveway Sunday evening, police said.
Around 9:45 p.m., the woman pulled into her driveway at her Chateau Drive home and began unloaded packages from the rear passenger compartment. As she went over to the front passenger door to remove the key from the ignition, the 2015 Toyota Sienna began rolling back. As a result, her left foot was pinned by the front passenger tire, police said.
First responders from Hatzolah First Aid arrived and were able to free her by lifting the vehicle off of her foot. She was brought to Jersey Shore University Medical Center for additional treatment for a possible broken foot, police said.
