TOMS RIVER – The Ocean County Health Department (OCHD) have announced upcoming COVID-19 vaccine clinics for this Wednesday and Thursday. The OCHD will be offering the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine at their Toms River clinic located at the RWJ Barnabas Healthcare Arena. The Moderna vaccine will still be available at each clinic along with the Pfizer.
Recently, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) authorized the use of the Pfizer 2-dose vaccine for those 12 and older. Those under 18 must provide a consent form signed by a parent or guardian.
Revised OCHD COVID-19 vaccination schedule for remainder of the week at the RWJ Barnabas Healthcare Arena:
- Wednesday, May 26: 9 a.m. to 5p.m. Pfizer & Moderna vaccines available.
- Thursday, May 27: 9 a.m. to 3p.m. Pfizer & Moderna vaccines available.
