SEASIDE HEIGHTS – A Feb. 23 traffic stop led to the arrest of a Belford woman, a former WWE Hall of Famer, for driving while under the influence, according to Seaside Heights Police Detective Steve Korman.

Ptl. Christopher Linnell stopped 46-year old Tamara Sytch at approximately 6:30 p.m. on the 100 block of Dupont Avenue where she was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Sytch was also given summons for having an open alcohol container in a motor vehicle, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, and reckless driving.

Ocean County Sheriff’s Officer Kevin Fennessy also issued Sytch a summons for failure to stop at a stop sign, wrong way on a one-way street, suspended driver’s license and careless driving.

Sytch also has outstanding traffic warrants in Holmdel for $1,500 and Knowlton for $1,000, Korman said.

She was released from the Seaside Heights Police Department to Holmdel Police Department.

Sytch is a WWE Hall of Famer, known as Tammy “Sunny” Sytch. According to a report by Wrestling, Inc., this is not Sytch’s first run-in with the law. Her career as a performer has been accompanied by numerous DUI arrests and motor vehicle summons.
