Peter Rinaldi, 56, of Little Egg Harbor, was previously indicted for these charges but detectives from the OCPO have not been able to find him at any of his listed addresses.

Rinaldi was charged with taking approximately $247,224.63 in payments from 12 Ocean County residents for construction projects that were not performed, from July 2014 to August 2016. He allegedly took the payments in checks and deposited them into his bank account and check cashing facilities to spend on personal items.

Rinaldi operated under the company names of Donovan Mark Custom Builders, LLC and Mark Anthony Custom Builders, LLC.

The OCPO continues to investigate the matter. Anyone who may have contacted Rinaldi for construction work, or with information regarding his location, can contact the OCPO Economic Crimes Detective James Conroy at 732-814-1697, their local police department, or the US Marshals Service at usms.wanted@usdoj.gov.
