Cops Ask For Help Locating Hit & Run Driver

SEASIDE HEIGHTS – The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office is reporting a hit-and-run in the borough near Sheridan and Central avenues.

Seaside Heights Police and OCPO are looking for witnesses and more information the black Dodge Ram, with TJ as part of the New Jersey license plate.

At 10:49 p.m. July 29, that black Dodge Ram reportedly was traveling north on Central Avenue, when it hit a pedestrian at the intersection of Sheridan Avenue.

A 25-year-old pedestrian from Kingston, New York, was thrown 20 feet north onto Central Avenue by the impact. She was taken to Community Medical Center for her injuries.
