Cops: Armed Robber Caught During Drug Deal

  LAKEWOOD – A man robbing a pharmacy with a gun on March 26 was apprehended during a drug deal weeks later, police said.

  Elioenai Aguinaga, 31, of Lakewood, was arrested on April 14 and charged in the robbery. He was arrested because he matched the description of the suspect: Hispanic male, short hair, about 5’10, with a tattoo in the area of his face or neck. He had stolen cash from Taylor’s Pharmacy at the corner of Second Street and Madison Avenue.

  He was spotted on April 14 in the same area as the pharmacy. As police detectives observed him, they watched him conduct what appeared to be a drug deal with Krzysztof Slusarz, 39, of Lakewood, Florida. Further investigation led to the robbery charges.

  Elioenai Aguinaga was charged with Robbery, Possession of a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose. In addition he was also charged with drug violations and sent to the Ocean County Jail.

  Krzysztof Slusarz was charged with drug violations and released on a summons pending a future court date.
