TOMS RIVER – Women learned how to excel in their careers while taking care of themselves at the Women’s Leadership Conference at Community Medical Center recently. The conference was sponsored by the hospital and Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity.
The more than 60 attendees absorbed what numerous guest speakers had to say about leadership, mentoring, empowerment, self-care and work/life balance.
The speakers shared their own work/life experiences, drawing on their own stories to inspire those in attendance.
Community Medical Center has worked with Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity to help low-income families purchase or repair homes. Having their own homes helps families and communities build strength, stability and independence.
