JACKSON – Bartley Healthcare Nursing and Rehabilitation has once again received recognition for its commitment to quality care and outcomes for its residents and patients.
The latest recognition is the accreditation in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI). This accreditation is another recognition of Bartley’s continuous commitment to improving their quality of care and understanding and meeting the needs of its residents and patients.
Bartley has partnered with quality care leader Providigm, a developer and champion of quality assessment methods and measures for post-acute and long-term care facilities, who tracks outstanding performances in those areas. “It is an honor to be recognized as an elder care provider that is committed to continuously improving the care that we provide, based on feedback from our residents and families who benefit from the care we provide,” stated Joanne Ryan, VP of Quality Management at Bartley.
The QAPI program is designed to perform consistent, comprehensive assessments of the care and services provided to residents and patients. Bartley’s QAPI Accreditation is based on the standards for excellence in continuously improving quality of care and life for nursing home residents based on four criteria: comprehensive quality review and assessment, consistency in application of program standards and assessing results, coverage of a broad range of resident assessments and taking timely corrective action when needed.
