OCEAN COUNTY – The Ocean County Vocational Technical School (OCVTS) will be hosting an information session for the Academy of Law and Public Safety (ALPS) for the 2018-2019 school year! Come out to discover what this full-time educational program has to offer.
The ALPS was first opened for the 2015-2016 school year and is still fairly new. Their mission is to provide rigorous college prep, theme-based curriculum alongside community and higher education partnerships to help students learn professional skills and use the latest technology in the criminal justice field.
The ALPS information sessions will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. and Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. These sessions will be held at the Ocean County Fire and First Aid Training Center in Waretown. The sessions will discuss the admission process and provide insight into OCVTS’s learning environments.
OCVTS is offering admission to incoming sophomores and juniors, for classes that begin in September of 2018. Current high school freshman and sophomores and their parents, are encouraged to attend an information session. Admission paperwork will also be distributed at the information session.
