SCOTCH PLAINS – A Toms River man died Saturday in a motor vehicle accident, according to a Scotch Plains-Fanwood Patch article.
The man, 71-year-old John E. Modzrecki, was pronounced dead at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.
Scotch Plains Police said Modzrecki and another driver local to the area were both heading westbound on Raritan Road around 4:30 p.m. when the crash occurred. The other driver was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
