
FREEHOLD – The Monmouth County Fair promises family fun for all ages from July 22 through July 26 at the East Freehold Showgrounds on Kozloski Road.
Daily attractions include 4-H shows and exhibits, the Monmouth County Park System’s “From Fields to Forests” exhibit, Touch-a-Truck, and a petting farm.
Daily wristbands for the rides are $30 on July 22, July 23 and July 26, and $35 on July 24 and July 25. Rides are weather permitting. They are provided by Reithoffer Shows.
Entertainment includes the Fam Jam DJ Dance Party, WonderZone Dinosaur Zoo, DAWG Pro Wrestling, Andrew’s Big Show, Bwana Jim’s Wildlife Show, John Higby the Yo-Yo Guy and Tommie Turvey’s Stunt Horses & Dogs, which will appear Thursday through Sunday.

Now in its 51st year, the hours are as follows:
Wednesday, July 22, 4 to 11 p.m.: Opening night will include a MonmouthNJ 250 Celebration in honor of the nation’s 250th birthday, with costumed historic interpreters portraying Ben Franklin and a Revolutionary War soldier, along with fireworks, weather permitting.

Thursday, July 23, 4 to 11 p.m.: Main Stage: THE FUMOS
Friday, July 24, 4 to 11 p.m.: Main Stage: Mushmouth
Saturday, July 25, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.: Main Stage: The Ultimate Queen Celebration
Sunday, July 26, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.: Main Stage: Ocean Avenue Stompers Band

Admission is $10 for adults, while children 12 and under are free. Half-price admission will be available during the first two hours each day. Veterans and active military members with ID are admitted free, and seniors 65 and older and students with ID will be admitted free July 26. Parking is free.
